    Value Free Sociology

Spencer discussed a number of the methodological challenges facing sociology as a scientific discipline. He was particularly concerned with the educational, patriotic, social, political, and religious prejudices sociologists must overcome. Spencer proposed a “value-free” perspective for sociology to eliminate these biases.
